Become a Leader for the Future of Work

At this point in time, we are facing huge issues globally – a fragile economy, pandemic and business recovery and the need to reinvent work, to name a few. Brilliant, courageous leadership is required now to reimagine the nature of our work, understand the way we engage with people and to build exciting new companies. You have the opportunity now to become a leader for the future of work by putting development ahead of any other priority through the LeadershipHQ Leadership Essentials Program. As a future leader after completing this program, you will have capabilities that cover Empathy, Communication, Collaboration and Initiative and Drive!

“Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.” John F. Kennedy

Brilliant leadership is “Especially Important Now”

A May 2020 Forbes blogCreating the Future of Work: 10 Leadership Strategies for The Greatest Impact” indicates that we’re experiencing what could be the most significant reinvention of work in our time. Leaders will have an unprecedented opportunity to re-examine, redefine and reimagine the nature of our work, the way they engage people and how companies function. The COVID-19 pandemic has created hard and unusual times and as we get back to work, things will be different. As a result, brilliant leadership is especially important now as well as in the future. In addition, it’s likely the worst leaders will be weeded out. There just isn’t room for the mediocre in cataclysmic circumstances. Great leaders will come to the fore and the recognition they receive and results they drive will influence other leaders in turn.

In my blog “Making time for leadership development even though you’re too busy” shows that we all have time we can utilise if we are serious about making changes. Leadership development is the same; you can’t be a great leader if you don’t continually develop your leadership skills. No leader is perfect; there is no level you reach as a leader where complacency about your growth becomes acceptable. The great leaders among us are those that recognise that there is always room for improvement within themselves, and that is worth making time for!
