Asking for a Coach is truly courageous. Yesterday I was speaking with someone who said they had wanted to reach out to me about coaching however they felt it was just for leaders or executives. In turn, they felt working with me was unattainable. I smiled and said it’s my passion and I love to help anyone and everyone. Nothing and believe me nothing is unattainable. I always said the more seriously take your own self-development, the more seriously others with take you.
I have always seen Coaching as a gift. I have a coach and mentor and they are by far the best investments on my confidence, business, and career. I’ve been getting some feedback recently that not everyone wants to be a leader, so why should they work with me if I only focus on making people become better and more courageous leaders? Well, the truth is, it’s fine to not want to be a leader! You don’t have to be a leader if you don’t want that title or that role. Remember leadership isn’t a role or title. It’s an Attitude, Behaviour, and Mindset. But even if you’re not an aspiring leader, anyone can benefit from leadership coaching and development. This is what I want to get across – I won’t turn you away, or push you to apply for leadership positions. All I want to do is help you get all the benefits that leadership coaching provides, leader or not! It is truly transformational in ALL aspects of your life, career, business, and leadership.
It is about being the best version of yourself.

Leadership development isn’t just about learning how to manage other people; there are so many wonderful skills that anyone can take away from training or coaching. Learning how to be a better communicator will only benefit you, right? Whether it’s improving your relationship with your boss, or even helping you talk with your partner, having the skills to communicate clearly and efficiently are only going to help you. Having more confidence and a powerful mindset would change your life; correct?
I also help you identify your strengths and qualities that you probably didn’t even know you had. What a confidence boost knowing just what you do well, especially when its something you had probably never even considered before! It’s not only leaders that benefit from knowing their strengths; it gives you faith in your self and opens up new career pathways and opportunities for you to utilise those strengths.
You’ve also probably seen me talking about rocking it and being brave – this isn’t just for leaders! We are the role models for our children and other people in our lives, and even if we don’t have or want the title of ‘leader’, we should be brave no matter what. It’s when we are brave and stand up for ourselves that we achieve great things, and you don’t have to be a leader to do it! Rock your work life, be brave and ask for that pay rise!
Rocking it and being brave can apply to any area of your life – so don’t think these messages are just meant for leaders.
When you invest in yourself, you gain clarity, focus, motivation, confidence and self-awareness – these are incredibly beneficial outcomes for anyone, leader or not. But ‘leader’ is just a title, and is not something to be scared of!
And who knows, after investing in some leadership development you might even find the confidence to become a leader. But even if you don’t, that’s fine too. Be who you are, and know that I want to help you be the best you-you can be, even if that you don’t want to be a leader.
